A CITES permit, is needed whenever any CITES plant crosses any international border (the exception is the EU, which counts as one country for CITES purposes).

Permits are needed for exchanges as well as sales, for hobby growers and for commercial growers. Despite what you may be told, CITES permits ARE needed for international Ebay sellers. Our CITES plants are clearly marked as such. All are accountable and available for export.

Export permits are issued per genus, for a fixed number of individually named plants. We obtain UK export permits for you. Depending on your country's regulations, you may need to obtain CITES import papers from your Government, we cannot do this for you. The export permits we obtain are for our plants only, they do not apply to plants bought elsewhere and are not a general cover-all for plants you may already have.

Export permits are valid 6 months from their issue date.

This permit allows the export of any of our Cypripedium species and hybrids outside of the EU and validates import permits from your country.

Charges are payable on application to the UK government. The government will NOT refund this charge if the application fails or if an order is subsequently cancelled by you.
We repeat - this government charge is NON REFUNDABLE. If this is not acceptable then please do not order these plants.

Each permit covers an exact, fixed number of individually named species and forms. It cannot be amended once issued.
