The so-called 'Lemon Lily', lives up to its name with superb, bright lemon-yellow trumpet flowers. These are borne either singly, on 30cm stems or, as the plant becomes more vigorous, up to 25 may be spaced along a 150cm stem.
In addition to their obvious beauty these blooms have a wonderful fragrance. These are seed-raised bulbs of just less than flowering size, but they will quickly establish in a damp, humus-rich soil, moist roots and a sunny head suits them well, as long as that moisture is moving, not stagnant.
A species that we are not able to offer very often. California.
