Narcissus fernandesii

A miniature species in which the flowers have broad petals and a shallow cup all of chrome-yellow in sideways-facing clusters, over thin grassy leaves, all with an overpoweringly strong scent.

Happy outside here in a raised sunny bed, flowering dependably in this clone which is not prone to splitting as some are. Sunny site with good drainage, lime or acid soils seem equally suitable in cultivation.
