Galanthus reginae-olgae is a lovely autumn-flowering snowdrop from the Taygetos Mountains of Southern Greece.
A wonderful plant, completely hardy here, outside (it has taken -17°C without damage) and it is always a talking point - it really should be in every garden.
Cultural perfection is a slightly limey soil in a south-facing sunny spot, but it is tolerant and easy to please and will grow in light shade in acid soil if you wish. Best left to clump and this form also sets fertile seed in abundance.
Due to CITES permit costs of approx. £60 per item imposed by the UK Government these are not available for customers in Norway, Switzerland, USA, etc.
