Iris willmottiana

A fabulous plant with flowers of intense cobalt blue. There are up to six flowers on each stem, but this seldom exceeds 25cm so there is a good floral display. Another very beautiful juno, and certainly on the “top three best” list, all the more so for the faint tracery of thin navy lines around the crest of the flower.

Raised from seed from Kara Tau mountains, Kazakhstan. Good drainage, full sun.
