Arisaema tortuosum

Multi-divided foliage atop a tall stem with an elegant spathe. This is furled at the base to make a tube which flares at the mouth to reveal the pale green, white-striped, interior.

The spadix is green for most of its considerable length and points skywards. The blooms appear later in the year than many and thus prolong the season.

Large flowering sized tubers of this easy garden species, fully hardy in all parts of the UK.
