Hooker's Fairy Bell.
The true species with lovely, outwards-flaring flowers of greenish-white to cream over deep green leathery foliage, with characteristic long, drip-tips to the leaves.
After flowering smooth coated, red berries appear in the autumn.
A lovely garden plant, strongly perennial and very decorative. It takes a few years to root in, make size and live up to your expectations, it simply needs patience, but this is rewarded by a plant 45cm tall and as much across, covered firstly with lovely white bell-flowers, and then again with attractive red berries in autumn.
