Iris histrioides Angels Tears

(syn. Angels Eye) Raised by Blom, as a selection from histrioides major. The flowers are paler than major, with French-blue standards and gentian-blue falls. The crest is veined blue on a white ground with a yellow crest as a bonus.

It is some time since we could offer a true-to-name, healthy stock of this now rare Reticulata section plant (the plant is much rarer than the name!). These are traceable to the original Blom stock and are lovely plump, carefully grown bulbs.
