An exquisite form with smooth platinum to silvery-grey splashed and blotched with clear, darker spots of army-green and underlying markings of the same colour.
This form is only offered rarely. It was originally found in just one small area north west of the Dwars River Pass at Burgersfort in Sekhukhuneland, where it grows on arid rocky mountains in the shade of xerophytic deciduous shrubs. It has not so far been found anywhere else and this cultivated stock is the only one in existence at present.
This is so distinct that it was, at first, thought to be a new species but it is very likely to be a very distinct, isolated form within R. megaphylla.
Scarce and still expensive, stocks are limited.
