Urginea fugax

Attributed to Maire in 1924 but known for at least 50 years before this, from Morocco, (though it also occurs rarely in The Balearics, France and Sardinia).

This has thin, almost thread-like, leaves and a short stem bearing one to several small, pale primrose coloured flowers. Interesting and “different” rather than spectacular but you know that if you are looking at Urginea I suspect.

Loam soil, full sun and good drainage but strongly perennial and not difficult.
